The Governor of Southwest Ethiopia People’s Region, Negash Wagesho (Dr.) stated that due to the creation of a stable political ecosystem in the region, the people’s questions of development and good governance are being resolved.
The South West Ethiopian People’s Region Prosperity Party held a regional conference in Bonga city under the guiding principle of “words and actions for the prosperity of Ethiopia”.
The conference was held in which 1,800 elected members met to discuss the evaluation of the party’s half-term election period and how to solve future problems.
According to Negash Wagesho (Dr.), the Head of the Government of the People’s Region of South West Ethiopia and a member of the Executive Committee of the Prosperity Party, the Prosperity Party was able to overcome the challenges it faced in the half of the election period and achieve tangible results.
To ensure the social and economic benefits of the citizens, the activities carried out in education, health, agriculture, and job creation have achieved great results, but Burton said that we should have the capacity to reduce the cost of living.
He said that the party members in every area, the local community, the regional security force and the federal government’s security force should work together to solve the occasional peace and security problem in the region.
He also stated that we need the idea of brotherhood and solidarity to maintain the relative peace that has been achieved now.
