Mekele Industrial Park has returned to work –

Mekele Industrial Park has returned to the production process, the CEO of Industrial Parks Development Corporation Aklilu Tadese announced.

He stated that the park, which has been closed for some time due to the conflict in the north, has been put into operation today due to the great efforts and attention given by the corporation.

He also mentioned that the companies that previously produced in the industrial park are completing their pre-investment activities based on the request of new investors to produce in the park.

He mentioned that the corporation is making great efforts to get the companies into the production process.

The chief executive also called on other stakeholders to closely support the efforts being made to create a favorable investment environment for the park to enter the production process at its full capacity and increase its efficiency.

The Mekele Industrial Park was built on 238 hectares of land and started working in 2009. It has been pointed out that 15 production sheds and cultivated land are ready for investors.
